There is no previous experience or expert knowledge required, other than your own experience of work and business and your enthusiasm.

You will NOT be on your own! You will be working alongside teachers/ lecturers and in some cases other volunteers, Injaz staff will also be available with you at the school or university should you need any assistance. You will receive a full training and orientation along with a volunteer pack containing all you need to know about the program and how to present/facilitate it.

A volunteers role is as follows:

  • Commit to delivering Injaz curriculum once a week for one hour to a class of students during the semester

  • Attend one 2 hour orientation training session to prepare you for program delivery

  • Provide practical insight from your experience to enhance the program

  • Present Injaz curriculum as outlined

  • Share personal experiences with students in a relevant appropriate manner

  • Provide feedback to Injaz after program delivery
